What have I done?
Location-based services, data-optical networks, network management systems and planning tools, web proxies, approximate query answering, and histograms in databases.

I developed Alert Earth in response to the Indian ocean tsunami to alert people about disasters, recalls, and more. It sends out some 100,000 alerts a month.

I founded an internal venture at Alcatel-Lucent focusing on Geographic Messaging (GMS). We run a mobile social networking service called Geopepper.
