Almclk allows you to set an alarm at your terminal. It will send a message to your terminal when the alarm goes off, and it will pop up a window if possible. If you are not logged in at the time, an e-mail message will be sent to you. You can customize the alarm by specifying a message of your choice. This message will be printed when the alarm goes off. Also, a 5-minute warning is sent to your terminal and popped up as a window if possible. If you wish to kill the alarm, a script is created for you to do so. The tool can be invoked with or without arguments. Necessary information is prompted for. It is available under the GNU General Public License.
